At a time when Australia is desperately in need of a job creation scheme, the conservatives reject the renewable energy target, which will deliver a further 21,000 people to the dole cue. What a disgraceful mess these rich men’s servants have made of the Australian economy. They have been to Australia’s economy what Alan Joyce has been to Qantas. When Australia so desperately needs governments with vision and new ideas, the conservatives are taking us back to last centuries technology (coal fired power).
What a mess!

The jaw-dropping insincerity of our Federal government - to tell pensioners that they must pay extra to see their GPs, then pay again to have their prescription filled from their meagre payments, while the government spends $500,000 on the PM’s new car and then covers his travel expenses for an LNP fundraiser is despicable. Add to this the proposed purchase of a new much larger aircraft to accommodate Tony Abbott and his entourage on long distance flights. It has come to light that Abbott has in fact covered the same amount of kilometres as did Keven Rudd in the first year of office, the difference being that the issue has not attracted the publicity from the media that Rudd’s travel attracted, why?
It now appears that the LNP is on a nation-wide downwards slide in the polls as their ultra-right wing policies disenfranchise huge swathes of the Australian population. One wonders why it took so long. In Queensland, we have had huge by-election swings away from the LNP. In West Australia it appears that finally the Sandgropers have had enough and the Barnett government are facing a 10% swing against them. With Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland all with State elections due in coming months it would seem that the arrogance and hypocrisy of the Abbott government is the straw that broke the camel’s back. Enough is enough, and the population is fighting back.

1. Prime Minister of Australia
2. Captain of the Australian Cricket Team
3. The CEO of Qantas
The miserable display from all the current holders of these positions is a disgrace and a continuing embarrassment to all Australians. The Prime Minister is the most shallow person who has ever had held that office. The Cricket Captain has been a disappointment since he was first given the job, and the Qantas losses (in the billions) speaks volumes about the performance of CEO.
Youth unemployment is the worst in decades as a result of conservative policies; we must make a change for the sake of our children, because nothing will change under the current mob.
It was no suprise that a billionaire mining magnate would direct his puppets in the Senate to abolish the Mining Tax, and sacrifice the superannuation of ordinary working people.
Their mission it seems is to tear down hard working people, people who contribute to the wellbeing of this nation. A pox on all their houses for the unfair policies that they support. While democracy is said to deliver fairness, that theory does not hold water when thousands of ordinary people’s opinions can be corrupted by religious misinterpretation and just plain old greed. Our economy is being questioned at the moment by Moody’s international ratings agency, which is no surprise given the pathetic stewardship of wall-to-wall conservative governments currently in power in this country.
